Member Rating System Explained
The member rating system (mrs. YNot) lets members rate the performance
of other members on YNotBid. A face beside the member's username shows
how good this member is.
A
is a new user - this member is the new kid in the
neighborhood and doesn't have a rating yet.
A
is an excellent rating - this member is a
superstar
A
is a good rating - this member is
reliable and safe
A
is a poor rating - be cautious with this
member
How to rate another member:
After an auction has ended, the seller and buyer will receive an email
asking them to rate the other member. Clicking on the link in this email
takes them to the rating page of the mrs. To prevent members from
giving false ratings to themselves or other members whom they have not
dealt with, this is the only access to the rating page.
How it is calculated:
The rating system is based on a point system. Members can give one of 3
possible ratings to another member: poor (1 point), good (3 points), or
excellent (4 points). Based on the member's total average of these
points, one of the three faces is placed beside the member's username.
90% - 100% average
60% - 89% average
0% - 59 % average
